Q: CAN YOU WALK US THROUGH THE PROCESS?
A: sure thing! first, it’s important to make sure that we will be a good fit. i like for you to fill out a little questionnaire to help. if we decide to move forward, i would love to meet you, whether that be in person or video chat. if all goes well we will sit down and overview the contract…don’t worry, it is pretty standard stuff. after the contract is signed, i am available as much or as little as you need me! i can help with anything from timelines to just being a person who will sit and have a glass of wine with you to help ease any stresses or wedding jitters! if you choose, i offer engagement sessions, bridals, and boudoirs before the big day. on the wedding day i arrive early to scope out the sites. other than of course getting all the shots you could want, i have helped with anything from putting on boutonnieres to transporting wedding party members who didn’t fit in the limo! whatever it may be, i am there as more than just your photographer.
Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: we take all of our photos in relaxed settings and try to use natural lighting as often as possible. we try to keep prices as affordable as possible. everyone deserves to have gorgeous photos to forever capture their big day.
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: yes! upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release, although we do recommend ordering from a professional print lab for the the best quality and color.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: the base package comes with one photographer (lena). there is always an option to add a second photographer for those larger weddings with a lot of action going on!
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: of course! depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements.
Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?
A: haha! while we are lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples, the images shown on our site and blog are regular, paying clients.
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: we use high end nikon cameras and lenses. all of our cameras and lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces. we also have off-camera lighting if needed to accommodate even the more difficult lighting situations.
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: yes! we love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel both in the united states and internationally. send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: we highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. the difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints!
